I am sure everyone knows her. And why not, she hasn’t left a single stone un-turned to ensure that everybody does. Your posts make me ☺SmiLe☺ whenever I am depressed!” Now THAT is enough motivation to write at this odd hour! C’mon, how silly they might be, my posts (ocassionaly) do solve my purpose »» to bring a smile on “SoMeOnE’s” face.. 🙂 So THIS post is for THAT “SoMeOnE” and EvErYOnE else.. 🙂

The ‘NATIONAL’ Terrorists!!

Never in my life had I been glued to my tv set like on the 27th of Nov, 08. Bullets, guns, explosions… DEATH.. I have seen all of it before, on t.v. itself, yet somehow never ever felt it so closely.

But its been 3 days now, since the horror ended. A lot has been said, read and written about it already. I do not wish to add more to it. What I do write here is, some of my own insights, and a few questions, un-answered…

Cricket-ing OR Complain-ing!!

I had been suggested to write a post on Cricket!! So here I am.. 🙂

In most cases, I am met with a -> raised eyebrow – ” YOU like watching.. Cricket???”

And my reply is -> a raised eyebrow – “Big Deal??”   😉

Well, the main reasons behind loving the sport is :-

I Messed up things.. pretty usual for me!! And I am Proud of myself for that.. 😀 Messing up things is ONE thing that/where/which (Use as & when necessary) :-

• There’s no one whose close enough to give me competition..
• I am unstoppable when it comes to MESSing up!
• I am a diversified MESS-er..!! (Mess-er?? uhh!!)

Phew!! The CAT… is finally DEAD..

16th of Nov is gone my friends..!! You can Chill.. Relax.. Sigh.. Dance.. Laugh and do anything that you had wanted to.. 😀 And so can I..

Examzzz are a S*******H.. I am really sorry..  I did not intend to use any bad word. Infact that word doesn’t mean anything.. I just wrote it to imply what you, very clearly, have understood.. 😛

That is a line from the book “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Dr. Brian Weiss, psychiatrist. I have a (strange?) habit of noting down lines that catch my attention as I read, (I don’t use all of them as a blog post, though!)

              Dr. Brian Weiss, as his book suggests is a man, a notch (or several notches I must say) higher than the rest of us! So what he chose to DOUBT about, is something I am not dwelling into. I realised the statement is, however, very much relevant to All of us (people of lower intellect  😐  )

               Unknowingly, we tend to DOUBT everything around us,  believing nothing or No-one.. I managed to compile the following list.. Have a look..

Diwali Blues!!

Its Diwali time.. Everywhere there is a chaos. With everyone busy in getting the house readied for the Festival.

Mom and Grand mom are busy in deciding Menus and their Preparations ( I am a strict no-no in the kitchen when there is serious cooking going on, thanks to my cullinary skills- which I dont possess..at all!!)

Dad is busy with his business chores (much to my mom’s annoyance) and when questioned, he beautifully escapes by saying that he is preparing for the preparations in his own way – something that ‘WE’ (specifically, my Mom) would never understand. And she doesn’t. Neither do I.

And finally, whose the one left??

Hola!! I am back..!!!

No.. Not after a break.. Why does everyone believe if someone is away, its for a break.. !! Huh!

I was BUSY.. yeah.. for a change, I was.. I had no access to any pc because I had no access to my home.. The entire week I had been out for the entire dawn/morning/afternoon/late-evening. .

C’mon being a FCA is tough job, phew!!

Happy Dusshera!!!

It’s a Hol’y’-DAY!!!! My entire family had to go somewhere right in the morning! I chose not to go.. And here I am.. Home Alone..!

O! what fun it is.. I am delighted!! 😀

 

But, my delight didn’t last long enough (sigh) !! As soon as I got hungry, I realised, its better staying at home “with family” than starving!!! 😐

My mom had sure known I would soon repent staying alone, so she had left a variety of things for me to eat.. on the table – (She was also sure I wouldn’t bother searching for them in the kitchen myself!)

“MAA DURGA.. HELP ME!!”

No. That wasn’t Buddhadeb Bhattacharya’s (Hon’ able CM of Bengal) cry of distress as he bade Ta-ta to the Tatas!!

Nor was it Sourav Ganguly hoping, the BCCI would extend his not-so-extendible career!!!

These were the words I found written, last week, on a pavement with colourful Calcium Carbonate!! Yes, you read it write, Calcium Carbonate! For the science-ignorant people like me, it’s the chemical name for Chalk!!! Feeling better??

As I go to attend my classes on the same route every morning, sitting in my bus, I cross this one particular side-path (footpath, pavement). Not that it has something special about it to hold my attention. But, it’s a long-owned, self-imposed residence of a Tramp! And that too quite a scary one! Not that I despise his fate or condition. Just that looking at him scares me!! I feel so happy that I am on a bus feet(s) away from him!!
